Job Description

The Center For Emotional Wellness Northwest is looking for a Child Psychologist or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker in our group private practice with offices in Crystal Lake and Arlington Heights, Illinois. If you are interested in working with a highly energetic, young, innovative, vibrant group, please read on.The ideal candidate will have training to work with a wide range of client presentations and ages. We are especially interested in a therapist who has experience working with children and adolescents. Preferred modalities for therapy include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Exposure Response Prevention Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, and Parent Coaching. Many of our clients have presentations of anxious and depressive symptoms, school refusal, social anxiety, self-injury, substance abuse and issues associated with academic pressures. We work closely with the schools, practitioners and pediatricians in our area. We believe in a holistic approach and collaboration is key. We will provide weekly supervision for candidates. We offer many groups, mentoring programs, as well as have an expressive arts studio run by an expressive therapist. We meet regularly as a team for case consultation and staffing needs, and also just to have fun!
