Chloe Grant, BA, Graduate Intern
Chloe has experience working with children, parents, and staff in a school setting, where she supported children in building confidence, developing coping skills, and strengthening their social-emotional skills. She enjoys connecting with a diverse range of clients and has a particular interest in working with children, adolescents, and young adults. She strives to create a warm, supportive space where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, and life experiences. Chloe values collaboration and believes that building a strong therapeutic relationship is an important part of helping clients work toward meaningful growth and change.
Chloe is pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Adler University and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. As she continues her clinical training, Chloe is developing her therapeutic approach using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), along with mindfulness and acceptance-based strategies. She tailors her work to each client’s individual strengths, needs, and goals.
Chloe’s areas of interest include working with children, teens, young adults, and adults experiencing anxiety, OCD, depression, grief and loss, as well as providing LGBTQIA+ affirming care. Chloe is committed to continued personal and professional growth and to providing culturally responsive, ethical, and compassionate care.
