Community Impact

We are fortunate to have an incredibly collaborative relationship with The Center, and we are so truly so grateful for their willingness to work and support us in every way possible! Extremely knowledgeable and professional, yet able to relate to any audience, The staff have worked with our teachers on professional development, our Counseling staff to enrich our social/emotional supports and our families to provide them with resources and healthy strategies that contribute to students’ well-being. Their knowledge and support have helped us in our student and parent programming, and I would highly recommend their services to all schools and families. Their genuine care for students and families is obvious in the work they do.

The Center has cultivated several resources to support students, staff, and the surrounding District 155 parent community. Team members have presented with Jackie on several occasions with regard to mental health. ‘Tangible tools’ is a buzz phrase we often hear following one of Jackie’s presentations. Her stylistic approach meets the needs of each audience and provides a sense of calm while addressing critical topics of growth and development. Jackie Rhew’s name has become a strong pillar for who’s who in the professional mental health network.

Our school teams and families have benefited tremendously from The Center’s parent coaching, staff development, and team consultations. This collaborative work has led to strong, consistent interventions for student engagement and has furthered positive home and school partnerships. They have provided resources and engaged with cross-disciplinary school teams to develop a systematic, structured response plan to support school engagement and school attendance.
