Sarah is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who received her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Rosalind Franklin University and has been practicing clinically for over ten years. Sarah has extensive experience in varied settings ranging from inpatient hospital units to at-risk community mental health and everything in between. She has provided individual, family, and group psychotherapy for ages ranging from preschool to older adult and has addressed such issues as family conflict, peer concerns, depression, anxiety, attention disorders, parenting/discipline problems, adjustment issues, academic motivation, and school failure. She enjoys working with both young children and teenagers, with problems of short duration and more complicated long term issues. Sarah finds it especially rewarding seeing clients meet goals and set new ones, while increasing their self-confidence and ability to function at their best.
Sarah works by drawing on her varied experience to think outside the box when helping clients meet their goals. She brings her creative and kind personality to the therapeutic relationship, while helping families collaborate to reach effective solutions for their problems. Sarah’s clients often refer to her as compassionate, understanding, and ready to meet them where they are
