Ashley is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received her Masters degree in Social Work with a Family and School concentration from Saint Louis University. She is also a certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist. She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families in a variety of different settings. She has worked individually to support children, teens and adults, as well as facilitated groups addressing a variety of skills including emotion regulation, coping strategies, social skills, and mindfulness.
Ashley believes in creating a warm and supportive environment to help develop a trusting therapeutic relationship with her clients. She takes a strengths-based perspective to support and empower clients. Her interventions include using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, the Zones of Regulation, Social Thinking curriculum, Coping Cat, Everyday Speech and other evidence-based strategies. Additionally she provides support and education to parents, as well as partnering with schools and community supports to work collaboratively as a team in order to support the whole child and family. Ashley is a compassionate, warm, and empathetic clinician who provides a safe and non-judgmental therapeutic environment to foster client growth and empowerment.
