Ryan is a Clinical Intern completing a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Ryan completed his Bachelors of Science Degree at Michigan State University.
Ryan’s interest in the field of counseling has grown from his passion to help others. Ryan uses a kind, relatable & empathetic approach, but is also willing to challenge his clients in order to help them meet their goals. Ryan believes that successful therapy begins with facilitating a safe and trusting space for his clients. Ryan also aims to meet clients where they are, and views the client relationship as fundamental in the therapeutic process. Ryan also uses evidence based interventions to help clients build communication, self-regulation and problem solving skills.
Ryan provides therapy to individuals of all ages, couples, and families. He specializes in working with people who have experienced trauma as well as members of the LGBTQ+ community and their families.
