Sara Brugioni—MSW

Sara Brugioni, MSW

Sara Brugioni is a licensed MSW in the state of Illinois, practicing in a clinical capacity for 14+ years. She holds an undergraduate degree in Social Work from Illinois State University as well as a Master’s in Social Work from Aurora University.

Sara’s career began working in a therapeutic school as a family therapist in the south side of Chicago where she focused on in-home support for families in addition to seeing students individually and in groups.  She later transitioned to a middle school social worker role, working with evidence-based curriculums such as Zones of Regulation, Social Thinking and Everyday Speech. She has extensive experience in behavioral therapy working with families, emerging adults, at-risk youth and children with anxiety, depression and attention difficulties.

Sara has worked in schools and homes, all of which inform her lens of the world and approach toward her clients and students. As a woman, mother and licensed therapist, Sara understands the unique challenges that life presents at different stages and offers a warm, non-judgmental space to work collaboratively toward her client’s goals. It is Sara’s privilege and joy to help her clients become their most authentic selves.
